You can learn a ton about horses and breeding, and have fun doing it!

Ever wanted a horse? get one on howrse.com. I was sceptical about this site when I first signed up, but boy, am I glad I did.
When you join howrse, you will get to create your own horse – stallion or mare. If you choose stallion, but you want a gelding, no worries – you can geld him later in life. Or if you change your mind, and really wanted a mare, you can either restart your game, or buy the right to change the gender.

Once you’ve played for a while, your horse can compete in races, or you can breed to start your own ‘chain’ of horses. Make ‘money’ by selling horses you’ve bred, working at your job, or competeing in races.
Outta money? No worries. Buy a pass with your credit card, and you’re back on track.
Have a horse you can’t sell? There’s a solution for that, too! Send them to the Safe Haven, where they will live out their lives, and you’ll get a little bit of dough.

After being on howrse for a month or so, you can open an Equestrian Center where you can grow crops, hold races, and board other player’s horses.

You can chat on the message boards, email each other, and create your very own homepage to tell the howrse world what you’re all about.
